Advantages

Preparative form

Emulsion concentrate containing dimethoate 400 g/l.

Transport and storage conditions

Comply with all conventional rules of toxic substance transport. Keep the preparation in a room dedicated for pesticide storage. Storage temperature range - minus 10⁰C to plus 30⁰C.

Action

Mechanism of action

Intestinal contact insecticide of neurotoxic action. It inhibits cholinesterase in the pest body, affect the nervous system, and causes respiratory and cardiac activity depression.

Protective period

Minimum 7 days.

Speed of action

The preparation starts acting in 3 to 5 hours after application.

Spectrum of action

Gall gnats, corn flies, potato moths, mites, Eurygaster integriceps, bugs, leaf rollers, alfalfa seed chalcid, seedworms, Oulema, gamma, chickpea fly, greenflies, thrips, Comstock"s mealybug, mealybugs, etc.

Compatibility

Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, except alkaline and sulfur-containing preparations. Check for chemical and physical compatibility with a specific preparation in recommended doses before large-scale use.

Resistance

To prevent resistance, alternate with insecticides from other chemical groups.

Application technique
Prepare the mix immediately before use. The mix prepared shall be consumed on the same day. Fill the sprayer tank with water to 1/3, add the full preparation dose while stirring, and then top up with remaining water and stir thoroughly.
Prepare the mix and fill the sprayer on dedicated sites that are disinfected afterwards.
Use ground-based boom sprayers OPSh-15-01, ON-400, OP-2000-2-01, OPV-1200, or similar. Perform treatment during zero wind weather using any spraying equipment. The mix must be prepared using mechanical equipment.
Phytotoxicity
No phytotoxic effect is recorded when used in recommended doses.
Recommendations on protection of valuable flora and fauna objects, limitations
The preparation is of high hazard to bees – Hazard Class 1, of moderate hazard to fish – Hazard Class 3. Basic provisions of the ‘Guidelines for preventing bee poisoning with pesticides’ and following environmental regulations:
treat plants in the morning or evening;
treat plants at wind speed up to 1 or 2 m/sec;
protection boundary zone for bees – min. 4-5 km;
bee’s flight time limitation – 5-6 days.
Warn apiary owners 4 or 5 days before treatment.
Do not use the preparation in private farms and by aerial method.
