  • easy to prepare and use the bait;
  • high efficiency due to active isomers of the active ingredient;
  • high preparation quality ensured by the total production cycle from synthesis to preparative form.

Preparative form

Oil concentrate containing ethyl phenazine 5 g/l.

Transport and storage conditions

Comply with all conventional rules of toxic substance transport. Keep the preparation in a room dedicated for pesticide storage in the manufacturer"s package. Storage temperature range - minus 20⁰C to plus 30⁰C. Stir before use.

When ethyl phenazine is swallowed together with the food bait and comes into the rodent"s stomach, it is accumulated in the body and then blocks prothrombin complex in the liver, which results in blood incoagulability, haemorrhage and fatality.

Protective period

A month or more depending on pest population condition.

Speed of action

Most rodents are exposed within the first week after swallowing, some species within the second week.

Spectrum of action

Common vole, Eat European vole, public vole, and water vole.

Compatibility

Efficient when used alone. Interval between treatment rodenticides and treatment with other pesticides - minimum 2 weeks. It is unfeasible to use it together with other rodenticides.

Potential for resistance

Likely, if the preparation is used several times (7 or 8) during the season.

Application technique. Bait preparation
Mix the bait base material with the preparation (30 ml of preparation per 1 kg of bait) in the treatment unit or metal pan. Wheat grain steeped before germination and surface dried shall be used as bait base material (if contamination of plantings is to be avoided, use steamed grain, or other known bait materials without hard scales, peelings or trash). Hold the preparation mixed with the bait base material for soaking (at above +15⁰C and draught – up to 3 hours, at lower temperatures – up to 24 hours), and stir before use.
Bait eatability is improved by adding and thoroughly stirring fine salt (0.2-0.3% wt. of bait mass) or sugar (2-4%). Consumption rate: 30 ml of preparation per 1 kg of bait. Put the ready-to-use bait into a closed container intended for bait storage or transport to the point of application.
Phytotoxicity
None.
Limitations
Due to specific application conditions, the preparation is not of hazard to bees.
Toxic to fish.
Do not apply the preparation within the sanitary zone of fishery water bodies 500 m away from the flood line in case of maximum floodwater level, but not closer than 2 km to the existing banks.
