- Systemic action ensuring protection of the entire plant, including new shoots;
- Dual reliability due to contact and systemic properties;
- Preventive and curative action;
- Implementation of full crop potential;
- Unrivaled protection of potato tubers in the field and storage;
- Penetrates the plant in 30 minutes;
- Resistant to precipitation;
- Protection up to 14 days;
- Improves tuber storability.
Mechanism of action
The preparation has a protective (spores die before infection), curative (affects pathogen after infection) and eradicative action (pathogen dies inside the spore-containing spot). Mancozeb protects the protected plant surface - leaves and stalks, and metalaxyl slowly penetrates into leaf tissue, spreads all over the plant with upbound blood, and protects leaves, stalks and growing tissues from the inside.
The preparation has a preventive and curative effect and provides reliable protection of plants within 10 to 14 days.
Speed of action
The preparation affects pathogens on the leaf surface in 40 minutes after treatment.
Spectrum of action
Alternaria blight, buckeye rot, etc.
The preparation is compatible in mixes with fungicides and insecticides. However, the preparations to be commingled should be checked for compatibility in each specific case.
Potential for resistance
Resistance is unlikely when usage regulations are met.
|Crop / object of treatment||Harmful object||Preparation consumption rate, kg/ha||Mix consumption rate, l/ha||Method, time and conditions of application. Application time for manual (machinery assisted) operations||Wait time (application frequency)|
|Potato||Buck eye rot, Alternaria blight||2-2.5||200-400||Treatment during vegetation: 1st treatment – preventive, further treatments – every 7-14 days -(3)||20(3)|
Application technique. Mix preparation method
Prepare the mix immediately before use. Fill the mix vessel with water to 1/3, and then add the calculated preparation dose. Stir the contents until complete suspending of the preparation, and add remaining water. Prepare the mix and fill the sprayer on dedicated sites that are disinfected afterwards. Use ground-based boom sprayers Amazone, OP-2000-2-01, or similar.
When used in line with the elaborated recommendations, no risk of phytotoxic effect will exist.
Recommendations on protection of valuable flora and fauna objects
The preparation is of low hazard to bees – Hazard Class 3, toxic to fish.
Basic provisions of the ‘Guidelines for preventing bee poisoning with pesticides’ and following environmental regulations:
treat plants at wind speed up to 4 or 5 m/sec;
protection boundary zone for bees – min. 2-3 km;
bee’s flight time limitation – 5-6 hours.
Warn apiary owners 4 or 5 days before treatment.
Do not apply the preparation within the sanitary zone of fishery water bodies 500 m away from the flood line in case of maximum floodwater level, but not closer than 2 km to the existing banks.
Transport and storage conditions
Comply with all conventional rules of toxic substance transport. Keep the preparation in a room dedicated for pesticide storage. Storage temperature range - minus 10⁰C to plus 35⁰C.
Hazard class 2, high danger
