Compatibility with other pesticides
The preparation is compatible in mixes with fungicides and insecticides. However, the preparations to be commingled should be checked for compatibility in each specific case.
The combined use of the Metamil MC, WG fungicide, packaged in a water-soluble film, in a tank mixture with any boron-containing agrochemicals, including Ultramag Boron, Ultramag Calcium / Calcium Active, Ultramag Combi for potatoes, Biostim Growth, is not allowed, because of the irreversible chemical interaction of the polymer film with boron compounds.
Application technique. Mix preparation method
Prepare the mix immediately before use. Fill the mix vessel with water to 1/3, and then add the calculated preparation dose. Stir the contents until complete suspending of the preparation, and add remaining water. Prepare the mix and fill the sprayer on dedicated sites that are disinfected afterwards. Use ground-based boom sprayers Amazone, OP-2000-2-01, or similar.
Phytotoxicity
When used in line with the elaborated recommendations, no risk of phytotoxic effect will exist.
Recommendations on protection of valuable flora and fauna objects
The preparation is of low hazard to bees – Hazard Class 3, toxic to fish.
Basic provisions of the ‘Guidelines for preventing bee poisoning with pesticides’ and following environmental regulations:
treat plants at wind speed up to 4 or 5 m/sec;
protection boundary zone for bees – min. 2-3 km;
bee’s flight time limitation – 5-6 hours.
Warn apiary owners 4 or 5 days before treatment.
Do not apply the preparation within the sanitary zone of fishery water bodies 500 m away from the flood line in case of maximum floodwater level, but not closer than 2 km to the existing banks.
